Shaker baghouse filters collect dust on the inside of the filter bag, where it forms a dust cake to enhance filtration efficiency. When the baghouse system initiates its off-line cleaning cycle, mechanical shaking flexes the bag fabric, dislodging accumulated dust, which then falls into the hopper for collection and disposal.
Unlike pulse jet filters, shaker bags do not require compressed air for cleaning, making them a cost-effective and energy-efficient filtration solution for many industries.
