Vertical Belt Press Cloths

An increasing number of companies in the bulk chemical processing industry are using the Vertical Belt Filter Press. The vertical design of this filter saves space and uses the laws of gravity to advantage. The vertical belt press uses a continuous belt and several chambers to achieve even, efficient filtration.

As soon as all chambers in the system close (they all close simultaneously), the slurry is pumped in and distributed evenly across the surface of the horizontal filter cloths in all chambers and dewatering begins automatically. Instantly, filtrate flow begins and cakes are formed. Next, high pressure water is pumped in behind the diaphragms, which compresses the cake in all chambers. This creates even more filtrate flow, further dewatering the cake. Air is then blown through the cake for exceptional cake dryness.
