Diamond Tite™ Spring
Save installation time with this diamond shaped, self-centering compression spring which combines non-linear reaction response with balanced self-centering, ground flat ends. The unique design provides all of the advantages of non-linear response, yet remains centered on the eye bolts and J bolts, thus keeping the spring's energy on the same axis as the bolt shank. This feature provides for installation without washers of any kind which eliminates the need to handle parts and the costs and assembly hassles associated with special washers.
By design, the Diamond Tite self-centering compression spring moves uniformly throughout its total deflection dimension. This process allows it to maintain the integrity of its coils for longer life and improved physical characteristics. This technologically advanced technique is ahead of the conical and barrel spring designs.
Available in 3-1/2" and 5" lengths, 35 and 75 lbs. per inch compression rates and two corrosion resistant metals including 17-7PH Stainless Steel.
Diamond Tite™ Spring & Double Drawbar
Reduce spring fatigue and fracture with the diamond shaped, self-centering compression spring and heavy duty drawbars. This assembly provides a fresh approach to fabric filter bag tensioning. The spring, although slightly larger in diameter, offers the same advantages as the Diamond Tite.
The open coil construction allows for free unrestricted movement of the drawbar. The make-up of the self-centering compression and double drawbar device not only reduces "shifting" providing a balanced energy in line with the spring's centerline axis, but eliminates drawbar "drag" and "sawing" inside of the coil surface. This technique improves uniform flexure of the spring's coils , decreasing fatigue and fracture which weaken and destroy the integrity of the coils and are primary causes of premature spring failure. The result is an improvement in the filter bag cleaning process and reduction of physical damage.
Available in 5" lengths and 75 lbs. per inch compression rates and two corrosion resistant metals including 17-7PH Stainless Steel.
Self-Centering Straight Spring
Achieve longer spring life with the straight shaped self-centering compression spring. Far better than the conventional straight spring, the Self-Centering Straight Spring incorporates linear response and a coil design that yields longer life and greater deflection movement before reaching solid height. Here again, the self-centering ground flat ends keep the spring from "shifting" out of line. This permits full energy from the spring's axis which maintains the soundness of the spring's coils. This spring does not require the use of washers, which reduces the number of components used for installation.
