Perforated Filter Tubes

Our replacement tubes are manufactured from 316L Stainless Steel and are available in various open area, hole pattern and gauges to best suit your application. Our tubes are available in lengths of 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft or longer and can be made to suit your specifications.

Mikrotex® is our high quality, cost-effective solution for your pulp mill’s recausticizing pressure filters. Mikrotex expanded PTFE membrane applied to polypropylene felt is used successfully in many pulp mills throughout the US. Mikrotex meets or exceeds the performance properties of all similar products currently available, at a substantial savings.

GPM (gallon per minute) flow rate in a candle filter is directly effected by the percentage of open area of the filter tube. Many aftermarket replacements have a very low percentage open area, greatly restricting flow and adversely effecting differential pressure. Returning to the original open area percentage or increasing that area with Menardi replacement tubes can improve your output considerably. Our tubes are offered in flat flange and "Dorr-Oliver style" grooved flange tubes.
