- Weight unit of measure where one pound equals 7000 grains.
- GRAIN LOADING
- The amount of particulate by weight in a given volume of air. (Grains/Cu. Ft.);
1 lb. = 7,000 grains.
- GREIGE (GREY, GREIGE, GRAY) GOODS
- Cloth, regardless of color, that has been woven in a
loom, but has received no dry or wet finishing operations.
- GROUND WIRE
- The addition of a copper or steel wire mesh in or on the seam to carry away
any static buildup on the fabric to prevent possible fires.
