Pulp and Paper
There are numerous areas of filtration in Pulp & Paper mills. Many plants use pressure candle filters on their white liquor and lime mud in the recausticization area. Menardi supplies the filter socks and perforated tubes used in these vessels. We also supply filter wires for dregs and precoat filter as well. Many paper mills also have baghouses that collect the fumes from a boiler. Menardi is the industry expert in the design, manufacture, and application of the high temperature filter bags used in these baghouses.

Silicas
Demand for specialty silicas in the US is estimated to grow 5.4 percent annually through 2006. New uses such as chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) slurries, high performance tire fillers and ink jet paper coatings will continue to drive growth. Precipitated silica and fumed silica represent the fastest growing industry segment. Specialty Chemicals covers a wide array of processes. Most of these plants have process filtration requirements involved in the manufacture of their products.
